Hosur Valley Matriculation School

Being located in the Maruthi Green Fields Township gives our school a bit of a different feel than the ones right in the middle of Hosur town. We are at number 604/1, and the area is usually a bit quieter, which is nice for a school setting. Hosur Valley Matriculation School is a sturdy building where we’ve got students from different age groups coming in every day. The morning air here can be quite cool, especially during the winter months, so the kids usually arrive in their sweaters. We have a proper playground since we are out in a township, and that’s where most of the energy goes during the day. The hallways are wide enough for the kids to walk in lines, and we try to keep the classrooms organized, though with children, there is always a bit of a mess by the end of the day. The teachers spend their breaks in the staff room, often grading papers or talking about the upcoming exams. We don't really do the whole polished corporate look; we just have our desks, our chalkboards, and our books. People who live in the township find it convenient to have us right here. Sometimes the school bus has a bit of trouble with the turns in the residential streets, but we manage. It’s just a place where kids grow up and learn their subjects year after year. We spend quite a bit of time on the paperwork too.
