Ashirwads International School

We are located out in Pakkam Village, specifically in P.Venkatapuram. It’s near the Gudiyattam Railway Station, so we hear the trains go by sometimes. This part of Vellore is where we’ve set up our school. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but it’s a quiet enough spot for learning. We call it an international school, which means we look at things from a broader perspective, but we’re still just a local place at heart. The building has enough rooms for all the different grades we teach. We spend our days making sure the kids are actually reading their books and doing their chores. Running a school in a village like Pakkam has its own set of challenges, like making sure the buses can get through the smaller roads. But we manage it every day. The staff is mostly local people who care about this area. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just teach. There’s a playground where the kids blow off steam, and we have the usual offices for the paperwork that never seems to end. If you’re looking for us, just head toward the railway station and follow the signs for P.Venkatapuram. We’ve been part of this community for a while, and we plan on staying. It’s just plain, hard work keeping a school running smoothly in this corner of Vellore.
