Maharishi Vidya Mandir Hosur

Our school is located in the Sipcot area of Hosur, specifically in Swami Brahmananda Saraswathi Nagar. Being in an industrial zone like Sipcot means things are always moving and noisy around us, but inside the school gates, it is a different story. We have a fair amount of green space which helps keep the air feeling fresh and cool. The building is quite large, and it takes a while to walk from one end to the other if you are in a hurry. We follow the Maharishi Vidya Mandir way, which includes things like quiet time and meditation, though the kids are still kids and can be quite noisy when they want to be during their breaks. The classrooms are bright enough with the natural light. We have a lot of staff who live nearby in the neighborhood, so it feels like a local workplace. Some of the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we prioritize keeping the classrooms functional for the students. It is a long day for many of the students who come from further away on the school buses. We see them getting off in the morning, looking a bit sleepy sometimes before the first bell. The canteen has its busy hours, and the playground is never empty during the break times. We do not put on a big show for visitors. What you see is what you get every day. It is just school life.
