Shree Kumaran Metric School

Shree Kumaran Metric School is located in JK Patty Village, which is part of the Pochampalli area in Krishnagiri. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it is a good spot for a school. We have a decent amount of space. The buildings are plain, painted in colors that don't show the dirt too much. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of desks and blackboards. We don’t have fancy digital screens in every room, but the teachers know how to explain things well enough without them. Most of the kids come from the nearby farms and villages. They are hard-working and don't complain much. We spend our days making sure everyone is following the schedule. There’s always a bit of a rush in the morning when the bell rings. The office is usually busy with people coming in to pay fees or ask about holidays. We just handle things as they come. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just want the students to pass their classes and be ready for whatever they do next. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We have been part of this village for a while now and most people know us. We just keep at it, day in and day out, helping the local kids get through their schooling. It’s a steady job and we like the routine.
