Harita Seating Systems Ltd.

Our place is out on Hour-Thally Road in Belagondapalli. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it’s where we do everything. Harita Seating Systems is a big operation, but when you’re on the floor, it feels more like a lot of small teams working together. We make seats, mostly for vehicles, so there’s a lot of fabric, foam, and metal frames everywhere. The warehouse is huge, and sometimes it takes a while to find exactly what you need. We have a lot of people coming in for different shifts. The morning shift starts while it's still cool outside, which is nice because it gets stuffy later on. We don't have a lot of corporate talk here. Most of the conversation is about production numbers or why a certain machine is acting up again. The road outside can be pretty rough with all the trucks moving in and out. It’s a busy spot. We have a small area where we eat lunch, and that’s usually where you hear the real news about what’s going on. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations. We just make sure the seats are put together right and loaded onto the trucks. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we’ve got a system that works for us. Belagondapalli is a quiet area otherwise, mostly just factories and fields, which is a nice change of pace.
