We are located at B-15 in the Sidco Industrial Area. It’s a decent spot for a business like ours. We mostly spend our time looking at very small parts under bright lights. Shivani Precision Components is all about the little details that most people don’t even notice in their daily lives. We have machines that run for hours just to get a single component exactly right. It can be repetitive work, but someone has to do it. The shop floor is kept as clean as we can manage, though there’s always a bit of coolant smell or metal dust in the air. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of people. We’re a private limited company, but it feels more like a family business because most of us have been working together for a long time. We have our morning routine with tea and some talk about the news before the machines start up and the noise begins. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the day fixing it, which is annoying and slows us down, but that’s just part of manufacturing. We don’t do any big advertising or sales pitches. Most people find us because they need something specific made and they heard from someone else that we could do it. We just focus on the work on the bench and the quality of the finish. It’s not a glamorous job, but there is a certain pride in finishing a batch of parts and knowing they are right.
