Happy Valley School

Our address is 1-5-2 on the 1st Main Road in Agiripalli. It’s a fairly quiet road compared to the highway, which helps when we’re trying to focus. The school building has been part of this street for a good while. When you walk in, you’ll see the main hallway that leads to the different rooms. It isn’t a massive campus, but we use the space we have. There’s a lot of movement during the day with students changing classes and teachers carrying stacks of notebooks back and forth. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. Most of what’s on the walls is just stuff the students made or some old maps that have been there for years. The light comes in quite strongly in the afternoons, so we usually have to adjust the curtains to keep the rooms from getting too hot. It feels like a very normal, local place. We know the people who live in the houses nearby and they often see the kids playing during the midday break. We handle the paperwork in a small room near the entrance. It’s usually piled high with forms and registers. We don’t use any complicated systems, just old-fashioned record-keeping and a lot of patience. Dealing with so many different personalities every day keeps us busy from the moment we open the doors until the last student leaves the gate in the evening.
