Sri Vidyalaya Olympiad School

We are located right on Mosque Road here in Edupugallu. Most people know the spot because it’s a busy little corner of Krishna. Every morning, the street gets crowded with cycles and parents dropping off their kids before they head to work. Sri Vidyalaya Olympiad School has been around for some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Inside the gates, it’s mostly just the sound of kids reciting lessons or the fan humming in the office. We have a few classrooms that get quite a lot of sunlight in the afternoons. Sometimes the dust from the road comes in, but we just sweep it out and keep going. The teachers here are local folks who know the families well. We don’t have a big marketing team or fancy brochures. Usually, parents just hear about us from their neighbors. During the breaks, the playground gets pretty loud, especially when the older boys are playing. We try to keep the garden at the back tidy, though the goats sometimes try to get in. It is a simple place where we focus on the books and making sure the children are safe. In the rainy season, the road gets a bit muddy, so everyone leaves their shoes at the door. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s our school and we do the work every day without much fuss or extra decoration to distract from the learning.
