Anm English Medium High School

Anm English Medium High School is found on Yelamarru Road in Pamarru, within the Krishna district. The address is House No C/26/4/1, and it’s a place that most people in the locality can point you toward. The school itself is a simple building that looks a lot like the other houses on the street, which makes it feel very much a part of the neighborhood. We have a small gate at the front where the students gather before the first bell of the day. Inside, the rooms are fairly small but they get plenty of light from the windows. We don't have many modern amenities, just the usual benches, chairs, and some cupboards for storing supplies. The walls are decorated with some drawings the kids made last year, and they’ve faded a bit in the sunlight. In the afternoons, the sound of the ceiling fans is the main background noise while everyone is busy with their lessons. Pamarru is a quiet town, and our school reflects that calm atmosphere for the most part. The teachers spend their breaks sitting in the small office area, checking notebooks and talking about the upcoming week. We try to keep things running smoothly without making a big deal out of anything. It’s a practical environment where the kids come to do their work and the staff does what they can to keep everything organized. Most of the families here have known us for a long time now.
