Delhi Public School

Delhi Public School in Vijayawada is situated right on Nh 5 in Nidamanuru. Being out on the highway means we have a lot of space, but it also means it can get quite hot and windy. The 521104 area is a bit outside the main city center, so it is a bit of a drive for some of us. The school is a large facility with many hallways and classrooms to keep track of. Keeping a place this size clean and running is a full-time job for everyone involved. We have the usual stuff you would expect, like a big field and lots of rooms, but it is all very functional. There are no fancy fountains or anything like that. The staff rooms are often cluttered with books and old lunch boxes. We spend our days making sure the buses are on time and the students are where they need to be. The sound of the traffic from Nh 5 is always there in the background, like a constant hum. We have to keep the windows closed sometimes just to hear the teachers talk. It is a busy place, and there is always something that needs doing, like painting a wall or fixing a fence. We just take it one day at a time here. It is a lot of work to manage a school on the highway, but we just get on with it like any other school in the district.
