Hitam English Medium School

Our school, Hitam English Medium School, is located at House Number 17-54 in Pamarru. We are right in the Krishna district. It’s a bit of a smaller setup, which is common for our area. We aren't a massive institution with hundreds of staff members. It is just a handful of us who live and work here in Pamarru. The school day usually starts with a bit of a rush as kids arrive from the nearby houses. Since we are in a more residential-feeling spot, it feels very much like a community project. We use English as our main way of teaching, which is why parents around here choose to send their kids to us. The building is simple and we try to keep things in good repair as best as we can. We don't have a big playground, but we make do with what we have. Sometimes the kids play out in the front area during their breaks. We don't use any complicated systems for management; it's mostly just notebooks and talking to each other. If there’s a problem, we just call the parents and sort it out. Life moves at a bit of a slower pace here in Krishna compared to the big cities. We like it that way. We just want to make sure the kids learn to read and write well. That’s pretty much our whole day, every day, and we don't try to make it sound like anything else.
