Daffodil School

Daffodil School is located in the 521137 zip code area of Vijayawada. It is a quiet part of town compared to the busy city center, which is actually quite nice for a school. We have been operating here for some time now, and the locals all know where we are even without a big fancy sign out front. The building is a simple structure with several rooms for the different ages of kids we have here. Most of the people working here are from the surrounding streets, so it feels very much like a community spot rather than some big institution. We spend a lot of our time just getting through the curriculum and making sure the children are behaving themselves. The playground is just a patch of ground out back where they run around during the break times. You will not find anything overly polished here. The paint is peeling a bit in the corners and the furniture is well-used, but it serves its purpose for the day. On rainy days, it gets a bit muddy outside, but that is just how it goes in this part of Vijayawada. We have a small staff room where we drink tea and talk about the day’s work when we get a minute. It is a very basic operation, really. No big corporate backing, just us and the students and the daily routine. We open the doors early and close up once the last child is picked up.
