Mains Popular Hair Saloon

You will find our saloon over in the Dadabadi area near Kota Junction. It is a pretty typical neighborhood barbershop that has been around for a good while. We have the old-style heavy chairs that can be adjusted and big mirrors that reflect the whole street outside. It isn't a fancy place with air conditioning or expensive products; we just use the basic stuff like shaving cream, talcum powder, and standard hair oils. Most of our customers are men from the local area who have been coming to us for years. They usually come in for a quick trim or a shave on their way to work or on a lazy Sunday morning. There is always a newspaper or two lying around for people to read while they wait their turn on the wooden bench. We have a small television in the corner that is usually tuned to a news channel or a cricket match if one is going on. The sound of the clippers and the snip of the scissors is the main thing you hear all day. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many people coming in, there is always hair on the floor that needs sweeping. We know the life stories of many of our regulars because people tend to talk a lot when they are sitting in the chair. It’s a comfortable, familiar spot for the community. We open up early and don't close until it gets dark.
