Evergreen Hair Saloon Mens Parlour is out in Sangod, near the Kota Junction. It is a place where a lot of people pass through, especially with the trains being so close. We have a small shop that isn't much to look at from the outside, but it serves the purpose. Inside, we have a few barber chairs and a row of benches for people to wait on. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, but we sweep it as often as we can. It’s a mens parlour, so we keep things very basic. We don’t have any of those fancy lotions or complicated treatments. Just a good haircut and maybe a shave if that's what someone wants. The sound of the trains at Kota Junction is something we have gotten used to over the years. It’s part of the background of our day. We see a lot of travelers who just need to tidy up before they continue their journey. We also have the locals from Sangod who come in every few weeks. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just know where we are. It is a practical business run by people who know their trade. We just keep our heads down and do the work, making sure every man who leaves looks a little better.
