J.K. White Cement Gotan

J.K. White Cement Gotan has a branch over here in Kota at 619/A R.K. Puram. Kota is famous for a lot of things, mostly the students and the coaching centers, but we’re here doing the white cement business. The office is in a decent spot in R.K. Puram, and it’s where we handle all the logistics for this side of the state. White cement is a bit different to work with than the regular grey stuff; it’s cleaner but you still end up with a bit of a mess by the end of the shift. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to contractors who come by to pick up their supplies. The atmosphere is generally pretty relaxed, though it picks up when the delivery schedules get tight. We don’t go in for all that corporate talk. We just tell people what we have in stock and when it can get to them. Being in Rajasthan, you get used to the pace of things. Sometimes the traffic in Kota makes things a bit slower than we’d like, but that’s just life in the city. We keep the doors open and the fans spinning, and we get through the paperwork as it comes. It’s a solid routine that hasn't changed much over the years. We’re just local people helping other local people get their building projects finished. That is about the long and short of it for our team here.
