The shop is called Bansal Chips Cement Agency and you can find us at Shopping Centre 288. It's a busy enough place with lots of heavy lifting going on most of the time. We mostly deal with cement bags and those stone chips used for construction work. The floor is usually a bit dusty because of the materials, but that is just how it is when you work with building supplies every day. I spend a lot of my time checking the stock and talking to drivers who come to drop off or pick up stuff. The shopping centre has a lot of different businesses, but we have our little corner at 288. It gets pretty loud when the trucks are idling outside waiting to be loaded. We have been here for a bit, so the locals know where to get their cement when they are doing repairs or building something new. It’s not a glamorous job, just moving heavy bags and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the day. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains and we have to keep everything dry under the covers. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just walk in or call when they need a few bags of cement. It's a straightforward way to make a living. The shop isn't very big, but we manage to fit what we need inside. Mostly, it's just about being there.
