Brij Trarders

Our shop, Brij Trarders, is located at Shop No 6 and 7 in Mahaveer Nagar II, Kota. We are right by the Subzi Mandi, so the area is always full of people buying vegetables and fruits. It gets very loud and crowded in the mornings when the mandi is at its peak. We have two shops combined into one to fit all the supplies. We deal in various general goods that the local families need for their daily cooking and cleaning. The dust from the market can be a bit much, so we are always wiping down the counters. Being in Rajasthan, it gets incredibly hot, so the afternoons are usually our quietest time. We have a lot of regular customers who come by after they finish their vegetable shopping. It’s a simple business. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. We just focus on having what people ask for. The shelves are packed with grains, spices, and soaps. It’s a lot of work keeping track of what is selling and what needs to be ordered from the wholesalers. We’ve been part of this Subzi Mandi area for a long time. If you are down at Mahaveer Nagar II, you will see us right there at the market. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day. Sometimes the delivery guys are late but we manage it.
