J K Laxmi Cement is located over on Baran Road, specifically in Agarwal Hous at units 23-24 on the 1st floor. It’s a bit different because we are upstairs rather than on the ground. You have to walk up the stairs to find us. Agarwal Hous is an older building with a lot of character, and we’ve been here for quite some time. We handle the administrative side of the cement business from this office. There are stacks of paper and sample bricks around the room. Baran Road is always humming with activity, and you can hear the sounds of the street coming through the windows. It’s not a very large space, but it works for what we need. We have a few desks and some old filing cabinets. Sometimes the hallway is a bit dark, but once you get inside our units, it’s fine. We spend our days talking to suppliers and arranging where the cement goes. It’s a lot of logistics and phone calls. We don’t have fancy furniture, just the stuff that’s been here since we started. Most people who come by are builders or truck drivers looking for their paperwork. It’s a straightforward operation. We like being on the 1st floor because it’s a little quieter than being right on the sidewalk of Baran Road. It’s just how we do things here at Agarwal Hous. We keep it simple.
