We are based at House No. 83 on Kamayani Station Road, right by the Kota Junction. If you know that area, you know it’s always loud with the trains and people moving about. Being near the station is actually quite handy because everything is right there. We run things from this house, and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the paperwork and samples lying around. Buildmart is the name, but really it’s just a few of us trying to make a go of it in the construction supply world. Kota is a tough place for business sometimes because everyone is always in a hurry. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or out on the road. Station Road has its own rhythm, and we’ve sort of blended into it over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Rajasthan, just a reliable one that stays open when we say we will. The building itself is old, but it does the job for us. We don't use fancy jargon or try to impress people with big words. If someone comes in asking for something, we tell them straight if we can do it or not. It’s practical work. Most of our days are spent checking inventory or talking to drivers who are stuck in traffic. It is just the way things go around Kota Junction.
