We operate out of the Indra Prasth Industrial Area at A/94, right near the Bajaj Khana. Being in an industrial zone means it’s always loud with the sound of metal and engines. Our space isn't much to look at from the outside, just a large gate and some concrete walls. Inside, we have our equipment and a few desks where we handle the paperwork. It’s usually a bit greasy or dusty depending on what we are working on that day. I get here before the sun is fully up to beat the heat and get the machines warmed up. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for a long time. We don't wear suits or have fancy meetings; we just stand around the work area and figure out the plan for the day. There’s always a pile of scrap in the corner that we mean to clear out but never quite get to. The tea guy comes around at eleven and that’s when we take a break. It’s hard work and the days can be long, especially when something breaks down and we have to fix it on the fly. We’ve been in this spot in Kota for a while and most of the other businesses around here know us. It’s just a straightforward operation doing what we know how to do best without any fuss.
