Phynix Academy

Our academy is located in Kollam. It’s just a simple place where we hold classes for students who want to learn a bit more outside of their regular school hours. We have a few rooms set up with desks and whiteboards. It’s nothing like those massive institutes you see in the cities. We wanted to create a spot where kids didn't feel intimidated. We teach a variety of things depending on who is available to teach and what the students need at the time. The building is a bit old, and the fans make a bit of noise, but it gets the job done. We spend a lot of time talking to parents about how their children are doing. We don’t have a big office staff, so we usually handle the registrations and the teaching ourselves. It’s a lot of work but it feels good when we see a student finally understand a tough lesson. We’ve been here in Kollam for a few years now and have become part of the local routine. People usually find out about us by word of mouth. We don't spend money on flyers or ads. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the students have what they need to study. It’s a humble setup, but we like the atmosphere. It’s always lively in the afternoons when the classes start. We just take it one day at a time here.
