Ca Academy Icai Trivendrum Chapter

Our office is located at TC 25/2198 in the Shymalayam building, right on the Main Road here in Trivandrum. Being the ICAI chapter for this area, we deal with everything related to Chartered Accountancy. It is a serious place because the path to becoming a CA is very difficult. We have students coming in all day to register for their exams or to pick up their study materials. The rooms are filled with heavy books and stacks of files. It is an older building, so it has a lot of character, but it also means the stairs are a bit narrow and the windows let in all the noise from the traffic outside. We have a small staff who handles the paperwork and helps answer questions about the syllabus or the training requirements. There are no fancy decorations here, just the necessary desks, chairs, and computers. People often sit in the common areas and discuss their study groups or the latest amendments in the law. It is a bit of a maze sometimes with all the documents moving around. We take our tea breaks together and talk about how busy the next exam cycle is going to be. It is a practical, working office that serves the needs of the accounting community in this part of Thiruvananthapuram. We just keep things moving and try to help every student who walks in with their queries and applications.
