Vivek Steel

Vivek Steel is located at 139, Chandra Nath Roy Road in the Topsia area. This part of the city is very industrial, and you can see that just by looking around. Our place is surrounded by other small factories and warehouses. We deal with steel, so there is always the sound of metal clanging or trucks idling outside. The road can get pretty muddy when it rains, and there’s always a lot of movement. Inside our gates, we have different sections for the various types of steel we stock. It’s a heavy business. We use cranes and manual labor to move things around. The workers here have been with us for a long time, and we all know how the routine goes. We don't have a glossy brochure or a fancy reception area. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us in the yard or in a small office with a loud ceiling fan. We track everything in big ledgers and some on the computer too. It’s a hot and sweaty job most of the year, but steel is something that people always need for building things. Topsia is a tough neighborhood but it’s where the real work happens. We focus on getting the orders loaded onto the trucks so they can get to where they are going without too much delay. We don't really bother with trying to sound like a big corporation because we are just a local steel yard.
