You can find our office in the Bikaner Building on Lalbazar Street. It is a very old and famous part of Kolkata, right in the heart of the city’s main business district. The building itself has that classic look you only find in this part of town, with high ceilings and thick walls that have been there for decades. Working at 8/1 Lalbazar Street means you are always in the middle of the chaos. The streets outside are constantly packed with yellow taxis, street food vendors, and people rushing to the various offices and courts nearby. We have been here for a long time, and the office has a bit of that old-school feel to it. We deal with various manufacturing interests, but the office here is mostly for the administrative and management side of things. It is not a quiet place by any means. You can hear the sounds of the city even through the heavy windows. We do not have a modern glass-and-steel setup; it is more about history and staying close to where the action is. Most of us take the metro or the bus to get here, and we have all got our favorite spots for tea during our breaks. It is a lived-in space that reflects how long we have been operating in this city. We just do our work, manage our accounts, and keep the business moving forward from this historic corner of Kolkata every day.
