Swastika Steel Allied

Down on Chittaranjan Avenue, things are always moving fast. We are located at 117A, right in the middle of all that Kolkata chaos. Swastika Steel Allied is a bit of an old-school place. You walk in and see stacks of steel and hear the sounds of the city right outside the door. It’s a crowded street, and getting deliveries in and out is always a bit of a puzzle. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. The building has that old feel, with high ceilings and some dusty corners that have seen years of work. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It's more about the metal and the orders we need to get out each day. Most of us have lived in the city all our lives, so we’re used to the heat and the noise. When people come in, they usually know exactly what they want. We don't do much talking unless it’s about the work at hand. The fans overhead try their best, but it’s still hot work. There’s a lot of history on this road, and we feel like a small piece of it. We keep our ledgers, talk to the suppliers, and make sure the steel goes where it's supposed to. It’s simple, honest work. No big corporate meetings here, just us and the steel. We take our time to make sure the counts are right before anything leaves the building. It gets loud and sweaty, but that is just the way we have always done it.
