Our shop is down at 34/35 Bhar Para Road in the Shali area of Howrah, not too far from the B Garden. It is a busy part of town and we have a lot of people coming in and out throughout the day. We sell a bit of everything, mostly household items and things people need for their daily lives. The shelves are usually packed tight and we spend a lot of our time restocking and organizing. Howrah can be a crowded place and Bhar Para Road is no exception, especially when the trucks are making deliveries. We have been here for a while and the locals know they can find what they need without going all the way into the city center. The staff here are mostly local people who know the neighborhood well. It gets a bit hot in the summer and the fans are always running, but we keep the doors open for the customers. We don't have any fancy decorations, just the products on display and some simple signage. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy when it rains outside because everyone brings in mud from the street. We just mop it up and keep going. It is a typical retail environment where there is always work to be done. We focus on getting people their items quickly and making sure the inventory stays updated as much as possible.
