Tradex India

Our office, Tradex India, is located at 2/1A Justice Chandra Madhab Road in Bhawanipur. It’s a relatively quiet street compared to the main roads around here. We’ve been operating out of this space for some time now. It’s an old house that was converted into offices, so it has that lived-in, comfortable feel. We do trading, which means a lot of paperwork and even more phone calls to different parts of the country. The rooms are a bit small and the air conditioning struggles during the peak of the summer heat, but we make do with a couple of fans. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee and tea throughout the day. It’s a small team of us. We don't really have a big corporate structure or any managers. Everyone just does a bit of everything to keep the business running. Bhawanipur is a nice area with a lot of history, and we like being part of the local scene. We see the same people walking their dogs every morning past our window. We don't spend any money on advertising or fancy signs. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been dealing with us for many years. It’s just a practical, local business. We keep our files in big metal cabinets and try to stay organized, even when things get a little chaotic during the busy shipping season. It's a good place to work.
