Vipra Veggie Farms Llp

We are up on the 9th floor of the building on Synagogue Street, specifically in Room 906. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but it is where we handle the paperwork for the veggies. Vipra Veggie Farms Llp is basically us trying to figure out how to get fresh stuff from the fields to the people who need them in the city. It gets pretty busy here in the office. We started this because we wanted to work with vegetables and the land, even if we spend a lot of time behind a desk lately. My cousin helps out with the logistics and I handle the phone calls. It is not a big fancy operation. Sometimes the phones do not stop ringing and other days it is quiet enough to actually get through the mail. We deal with various farmers and markets, trying to keep things moving. It is a lot of coordination. People ask why we are not at the farm all day, but someone has to stay in the city to talk to the buyers. The office is not much to look at, just some desks and files, but it is where the business happens. We just want to make sure the vegetables are handled right. It is hard work and the weather usually messes with the plans, but we keep at it. We have been at this for a bit now and every day is different. One day it is a truck delay and the next it is a good harvest. We just take it as it comes.
