Spark Exports Limited

Spark Exports Limited is located at P-256, Purna Das Road. This is a well-known part of the city, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Our office is in an old building that has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb. We deal with exports, so a lot of our day involves being on the phone or checking emails about shipments and customs. It’s not all glamour; there’s a lot of paperwork and waiting for things to move from one port to another. The office is filled with files, samples of the things we export, and maps on the walls. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just a handful of us who know the ins and outs of the business. Purna Das Road is a great place to be because there are so many good places to grab a quick snack or a coffee nearby, which we do often. The atmosphere in our office is generally relaxed but we get busy when a big shipment is due. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just try to make sure the goods get from point A to point B without too much trouble. It’s a small, local operation that has been doing its thing for years. We value the relationships we’ve built with the people we work with, and we just keep plugging away at it every day in Kolkata.
