Videocon

We've been here in Kalikapur for quite a while now. Most people know the spot near Uttarraipur in Budge Budge. It’s a busy area in South 24 Parganas, and we're right in the middle of it. If you’re coming from Kolkata, you know the roads can get a bit tricky, but once you reach our street, it’s pretty straightforward. We deal with various electronics and household stuff under the Videocon name. It’s a local setup, nothing fancy. We open up every morning and wait for the local folks to stop by with their questions or to look at what's in stock. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded, especially on weekends when everyone is out doing their errands. We try to keep things organized, but it’s a working space, so there might be some boxes around. It’s just how we run things here. People from all over Budge Budge come by. We know many of them by name because they've been visiting us for years. It's not a big corporate office or anything like that, just a regular place where we get the work done. If you need something fixed or are looking for a new appliance, we’re usually around to help out. The weather gets pretty humid here in Bengal, so the fans are always going. We just focus on keeping the doors open and helping whoever walks in. We've been thinking about painting the front door, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. It's a simple life at the shop.
