We are situated in a fairly typical residential and commercial mix. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a standard structure where we manage the college project. There’s always a bit of humidity in the air here, and the sound of the city is a constant background. We spend a lot of our time sitting at wooden desks, going through files, and answering the phone. It’s not a high-tech corporate environment; it’s more of a local office feel. People walk by on Central Road all day, and sometimes they pop in to ask questions about what we do. We don't use any slick slogans or fancy brochures. We just do the daily admin tasks and keep things moving. There are some old trees nearby that give a little shade, which is nice during the Kolkata summers. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and talk about the day’s work. It’s a very basic operation, really. We just show up, do what needs to be done for the college project, and head home. It’s just us in Modern Park, keeping the doors open and handling the paperwork as it comes in. It’s a simple, everyday kind of existence.
