Studing In Ihm Hyderabad

This is a bit of a mix because while the interest is in IHM Hyderabad, the home base is actually in Kolkata. We are located at B 7/6 E.K.T.P Phase IV, which is part of the Abhyudouy Housing Society. It’s a residential block in the 700107 zip code area. Life here is mostly about the routines of the housing society. There are a lot of families around and kids playing in the common areas. The focus is usually on studies and getting through the hospitality curriculum. It involves a lot of reading and practicing things at home that are taught in the institute. The apartment is where most of the planning happens. It’s not a business with a storefront; it’s more of a personal space where the work of learning takes place. We have books scattered around and notes on the tables. Sometimes the neighbors are a bit loud, or there’s some maintenance work going on in the society, but we just keep at it. It’s a long way from Hyderabad, so there’s a lot of back and forth involved. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. It’s just about getting the education done and making sure we understand the hospitality world. The days are filled with studying and occasionally dealing with the typical issues of living in a big housing complex in Kolkata like water timings or society meetings.
