We are located on the fifth floor of the building at 23 A.Nh.S. Road. It’s room L-2, so you have to go up quite a way to find us. Being on the fifth floor means we don’t get as much street noise as the shops on the ground level, but we are still right in the middle of things. We focus on tubes and pipes. It’s a specific trade, and we’ve been doing it for quite some time now. The office usually has stacks of papers and blueprints lying around. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with the warehouses and the transport guys. It’s a lot of logistics. Since we are up on the fifth floor, we rely on the lift a lot. When it’s broken, it’s a long walk up those stairs. We keep a small team here. Most of us have been working together for years, so we know how each other works. It’s a practical environment. We don’t really do marketing or anything like that. Most of our customers come from word of mouth or long-standing relationships. We just handle the orders as they come in and try to stay on top of the schedule. Sometimes it’s hectic, and sometimes it’s quiet. That’s just the nature of the pipe business. We are just a group of people trying to run a decent operation from our little room on the fifth floor. It’s not flashy, but it works for us and our clients who keep coming back.
