We are based out of Nakul Debsingha’s place in Sitkibari, right in the Nishiganj area of Mathabhanga. Being in Coochbehar, we are surrounded by fields and people who have been farming for generations. This company started because we needed a way to organize ourselves better as farmers. It isn't anything fancy or corporate. We just spend our days dealing with the soil and the crops that grow in this part of West Bengal. Sometimes the weather is on our side and sometimes it isn't, but that is just how it goes here. Most of us have known each other for a long time. We work from the address in Sitkibari and it's a simple setup. There are no big offices or reception desks. It is more about getting the local producers together so we can handle our business without too much trouble from outside. You might find some of us sitting around discussing seeds or the price of produce on any given afternoon. It is a quiet life in Koch Bihar but we keep busy enough. We don't have a big marketing team writing things for us. This is just a group of farmers trying to make things work in our own little corner of the world. If you come by Nishiganj, you’ll see how it is. Just regular people doing regular work. It’s practical and it keeps us going day after day in the heat and the rain.
