Battery Zone

Our office for Battery Zone sits right on Canal West Road at Office No. 30, near the North City Diagnostic and the Ultadanga Bridge. It’s a busy part of the city so there’s always a lot of honking and people rushing by outside. Inside the shop, things are a bit more focused. We have rows of batteries stacked up, some for cars and others for home inverters. They are heavy, so moving them around is a bit of a workout for everyone here. The floor has a few stains from over the years, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but it keeps the air moving. People usually stop by because their car wouldn't start or they need a replacement before the rainy season kicks in. We keep the paperwork on an old wooden desk that’s been here forever. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the traffic from the bridge nearby, so we have to wipe things down pretty often. It’s a practical space, not meant for lounging around. We just spend the day testing cells and talking to people about what might work for their specific vehicle. Lunch is usually eaten quick at the back of the office. It’s a straightforward kind of life here at the shop, just keeping things powered up for whoever walks through the door next. We don't have any fancy signage inside, just a calendar on the wall and some spare cables.
