Ramesh Battery Traders

Ramesh Battery Traders is located at No. 142 - B on A. P. C. Road. If you know the city, you know that APC Road is always moving, and we are right there in the middle of it. We sell batteries for just about everything—cars, bikes, and those big backup systems people use for their homes when the power goes out. It’s a bit of a messy shop because batteries are heavy and there are always old ones sitting around waiting to be recycled. We spend a lot of time testing things and making sure the charges are holding. People come in when their car won't start or when they're worried about the summer heat killing their battery. We don't have a shiny showroom. It’s mostly just shelves full of heavy black boxes and some tools for fixing the terminals. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen the street change quite a bit. My hands are usually a bit dirty from the lead and the grease, but that’s the job. We don't try to sell people stuff they don't need. If a battery can be saved, we tell them. If it’s dead, it’s dead. We just try to be honest because we want people to come back next time they have a problem. It’s a simple business, really. We open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer to walk in with their troubles.
