We are Udyaman Farmers Producer Company Limited, and we work out of Balgona in the Burdwan district. Our main spot is at Sk. Mahibul Alam’s place, right near the Balgona railway station area. It’s a busy little corner of West Bengal, and we’re right in the thick of it. Burdwan is famous for its farming, so there’s always something that needs doing. We aren't some fancy outfit from the city. We are just local people who decided to pool our resources and see if we could make the farming business work a bit better for us. Most days you’ll find some of us sitting around discussing the latest prices or looking at the schedule for the next harvest. We use simple tools and don't spend money on expensive things we don't need. The office is a practical space, mostly used for keeping our logs and meeting with the other farmers from the village. It can get a bit loud and messy when everyone shows up at once, but that’s just how it goes. We don't mind the chaos as long as the work gets done. Being close to the station helps with moving things around, which is a big plus for us. We’ve all lived here a long time, so we know how things work in Balgona. It’s about sticking together and making sure no one gets left behind during the tough seasons. We just do our bit and keep the company running for the sake of our community.
