Our office is right on Chowringhee Road, specifically on the second floor of the Chowringhee Court building. If you know Kolkata, you know how No. 55 is right in the middle of everything. It is a busy spot, and sometimes the noise from the street traffic comes right up through the windows, but you get used to it after a week or two. Thermal Associate Pvt.Ltd. has been running from this spot for quite some time now. It is a bit of an old-fashioned building with high ceilings and those heavy wooden doors that have seen better days. We spend our time working on thermal systems and various parts. It isn't the kind of place where people wear suits every single day. Most of us just show up, grab a tea from the guy downstairs, and start looking over the day's paperwork. We deal with a lot of different clients who need help with heating or cooling setups, so there is always a stack of files on someone's desk. The light in the office is okay in the mornings, but by the afternoon, we usually have to turn all the lamps on. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make sure the jobs we take on get finished properly so we do not have to go back and do them twice. It is a small team, and we mostly just talk across the desks instead of sending a hundred emails to each other. It keeps things simple.
