We are based at 1 Gastin Place in Kolkata. It’s an interesting spot, tucked away near the High Court and the old colonial buildings. The area has a lot of history, and our office feels a bit like that too. We are into manufacturing and fabrication. That means we spend a lot of time looking at how to build things out of metal and making sure they are sturdy enough for whatever job they have to do. The office here handles the paperwork, the quotes, and the planning side of the manufacturing. It’s often a bit dusty, and the files are stacked high because we deal with so many different projects. You can hear the city outside, but once you get into the work, you don't notice it much. We have a small crew and we’ve all been working together for quite a while. We aren't the type to use big words or try to impress anyone with fancy brochures. We just show the work we’ve done and talk about how we can make the next piece. Sometimes we have to go down to the site to see how things are being put together, which is the best part of the job. It’s a lot of measuring, checking welds, and making sure the steel is right. It’s a basic, solid business and we are happy staying right here on Gastin Place, dealing with the daily grind of making things that last.
