Tata Steel

Tata Steel has been around here at Sakchi House for a while now. We are tucked away in Flat No. 44 on Penn Road, right in the Alipore area of Kolkata. It's a quiet enough spot compared to the busier parts of the city. Usually, the day starts with the sun coming through the windows and the sounds of the street starting up. We mostly just focus on getting the day's work finished. There’s a lot to keep track of with the steel business, and we spend most of our time at our desks or on the phone. People come and go throughout the week, and we try to keep things organized. The building itself is old but it works for us. Living and working in Kolkata has its own rhythm, and we are just one part of that. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially in the afternoons. We handle a lot of paperwork here. It isn't anything fancy. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and head home. The neighbors are mostly other offices and some residents. Being on 5A Penn Road means we're easy to find if you know the landmark. We don't have big signs or anything. It's just a regular office space where the team sits. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but our spot in Sakchi House stays pretty much the same day to day.
