This office is tucked away in Baguiati, specifically Narayantala West. Kolkata is a big, sprawling city, but this corner feels a bit more like a community. We operate out of FB/92. It is a simple building that does not stand out much from the others on the street. Inside, it is mostly just us working on the logistics and the administrative side of the steel business. We have got desks, chairs, and a lot of files that seem to grow every single month. It is not the kind of place where you will find marble floors or fancy art on the walls. It is a working office. People come in early, drink their chai, and get right to the tasks at hand. Sometimes the heat in Kolkata gets to us, but the fans keep moving. We are near Deshbandhunagar, so it is easy for most of the staff to get here on time. We do not really spend time on making things look perfect for visitors. We are much more focused on making sure the numbers match and the steel gets where it needs to go. It is a busy environment but we have got a good rhythm going. Even though the company name is known everywhere, this specific branch feels like a small local operation. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the mailman. It is just a regular group of people doing their jobs in a quiet part of the city.
