Utkal Metal Stores

Utkal Metal Stores is located at No. 105 Netaji Subhash Road. We are right near the Brabourne Road Flyover, which makes it a very busy spot. There’s always the sound of traffic and people shouting outside. Our store is filled with all kinds of metal items, from sheets to rods and everything in between. It’s a bit of a maze inside with stacks of inventory reaching up toward the ceiling. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks that pull up near the flyover. It’s heavy work, and you have to be careful not to stub your toe or drop anything on your feet. People come to us from all over the city because we’ve been here in this location for years. We know where every single item is, even if it looks like a mess to someone walking in for the first time. We use old-fashioned ledgers for a lot of things because they just work. The humidity in this part of town can be tough on the metal, so we have to keep an eye on things. It’s a traditional shop. We talk to the regulars, have our tea, and keep the business moving. It’s not a glamorous job, but metal is always in demand, so we stay busy from morning till night. We've been near the Brabourne Road Flyover for so long that we don't even notice the noise.
