Susanta Banerjee

I've been working from my place at 2/6 Matri Mandr Lane for a while now. Most people know the spot because it's right near the Sishu Sathi Tarun Milan Club here in Kolkata. It’s a quiet enough area, 700035 zip code. I started doing this because people in the neighborhood needed help and I had the time. There isn't any big office or fancy setup, just a regular space where things get done. You just walk down the lane and look for the club, it’s easy to find from there. Sometimes it gets a bit busy around here, especially in the evenings when everyone is out for a walk, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. I handle everything myself mostly. It’s not a big operation with lots of employees or anything like that. Just me, Susanta Banerjee, working out of this address. I try to keep things simple and straightforward. If someone asks for something, I see if I can help out. It’s been this way for a few years now. The building is older but it serves the purpose well enough for what I do. Living and working in the same area means I know the people around here pretty well. We see the same faces every day. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but not too far. That's pretty much the whole story of how this place runs day to day.
