Cat'S Eye Art Emporium

If you find yourself walking down Surya Sen Street near M G Road, you might spot our little place. Cat'S Eye Art Emporium is at Shop No - 8. It’s not a very big shop, so it gets crowded pretty quickly if more than three or four people come in at once. We have things tucked into every corner and shelf. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of all the traffic outside, but we try to keep it tidy. Surya Sen Street is always busy, with people rushing to catch buses or get to the market. We’ve been here at No. 34 for quite a while. Most people know us as that small shop with the odd name. We don't spend money on big ads or shiny lights. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but it’s still readable. Inside, it smells a bit like old paper and wood. It’s just the way we like it. We aren't trying to be a big gallery or anything like that. It’s just a shop where we keep the things we find interesting. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. You just learn to work around those little things. We’re usually here from morning until late evening. It’s a decent life, being part of the local street scene.
