Montage

Montage is a place we have over in Dharmatala right on Jawaharlal Nehru Road. We occupy the spaces 18A, B, and C. It is a very busy part of the city and there is always a crowd outside on the sidewalk. Our building is old like most of the ones in this area. We do things involving pictures and frames and stuff like that. It is a bit of a creative space but it looks more like a workshop inside. There are frames leaning against the walls and glass pieces everywhere. We have been here for quite some time now. People come in with old photos or new art they want to put on their walls. It’s not a very polished shop. There is sawdust on the floor and the desks are covered in tape and cutters. We just enjoy the process of putting things together. The traffic on Jawaharlal Nehru Road can be a nightmare so most people walk to us. We have several rooms connected together which is why we have the A, B, and C labels. Sometimes we get behind on work when a lot of people come in at once. We don't have any fancy mission statement or anything. We just like making sure things look nice in a frame. It is a dusty job but someone has to do it. We are just part of the Dharmatala landscape now and we know the neighborhood well.
