Art & Fair

If you know AJC Bose Road, you know it never really stays quiet. Art & Fair is located right at 120 B/1 B, just across from NRS Hospital. Being opposite a hospital means there is always movement outside. People are always walking past the windows, and the sound of ambulances is just part of the background. Our office is on a busy stretch, and finding a parking spot can be a real headache sometimes. Inside, it’s a bit more peaceful, though you can still hear the traffic rumble. We have a lot of stuff stored in the back, so the place feels a little crowded. It’s not one of those polished offices you see in magazines. We have old shelves and some mismatched chairs. People stop in because they saw the sign while waiting for a bus or walking to the hospital. We spend our days answering phones and sorting through files. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit near the front door if the storm is heavy enough. We just put a bucket down and keep going. It’s an old building, so it has its quirks and smells like old paper and tea. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by, even if it is a bit frantic. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay on top of things every day.
