Dibyendu Dutta

The address is 28 Kalitala Lane in Baranagar, which is up in the northern part of Kolkata. It is a narrow lane, like many others around here, and it stays pretty busy with people walking by. I have been working from this spot for quite some time now. It is not a large office or anything, just a room where I can sit and handle what I need to. There are a lot of old buildings in this area and this one has its own character. Sometimes it gets a bit humid, but that is just Kolkata for you. I keep a fan running and just get on with it. There is a lot of paperwork usually, and I try to stay on top of things as they come in. My neighbors know me, and I see the same faces every day when I go out for a bit of air. It is a quiet enough place to focus most of the time. I do not really have a staff, it is mostly just me here. The walls are a bit plain, but I have got everything I need within reach. The mail comes through the slot in the door, and I just sort through it. It is a simple way of working. People might find the lane a bit tucked away, but it is home for the business. I do not really feel the need for a fancy storefront or signs.
