Our shop is at 207A Rash Behari Avenue. It’s a small place. We are tucked away on one of the busiest streets you can find in this part of town. There’s always a lot of foot traffic outside our door. You can hear the sound of people haggling for better prices all day long. Inside, things are a bit different from the chaos. We focus on the artistic side of things. Names and lettering are our main work. It’s a bit messy in here, to be honest. We have tools, paints, and different materials scattered across the workbenches. We don't have a clean or minimalist studio. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get made by hand. We spend hours hunched over pieces. Making sure the lines are right takes a lot of patience and steady eyes. Our hands are often stained with ink or paint by the time we close for the day. Being on Rash Behari means we see all sorts of people walking by. Sometimes they stop and look through the window. They want to see what we’re doing with the brushes. We don't have a sales pitch prepared for them. If they want something made, we talk about it simply. We see if it can be done with what we have. It’s a slow process compared to the rush of the street outside. We enjoy the work because it lets us be a bit creative. The office is cramped and the lighting isn't always perfect. We just do what we do, one piece at a time, until it is finished.
