Subir Majumdar

This is the place of Subir Majumdar, located at 34 M, Subhash Nager Road. We are situated quite close to the Dum Dum Cantonment area, which makes it easy for locals to find us. If you are familiar with the 700065 part of Kolkata, you know it’s a neighborhood with a lot of history and narrow streets. Our setup is very modest. It is basically just a functional space where we handle our daily business. I have lived in this city my whole life, so I wanted to keep things simple and local. There are no big signs or bright lights outside. You just look for the house number and walk in. Inside, it is mostly papers and books. I don’t see the need for a polished office when the real work happens at the table. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road traffic outside, but that’s just part of being in this area. We know many of our neighbors by name, and people often stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question. It’s a practical way to run things. We don't have a lot of staff, so you usually deal with me directly. It can get a bit disorganized during busy weeks, but we always manage to get everything sorted out eventually. It is just a regular local spot where we do our best to help whoever walks through the door.
