Shree Rath Chemicals

Our business, Shree Rath Chemicals, is located at No. 22 Strand Road. We are on the 2nd floor. Strand Road is one of those places that feels like it’s been the same for a hundred years. It is right near the river, so it is always damp and busy with the smell of the port nearby. Our office is a bit old-fashioned. We have wooden desks and old fans that hum all day long. Dealing with chemicals means we have to be very careful with our records and where things are stored. It is a tight space, so we have to stay organized or we would never find anything. We aren't a big company with hundreds of employees. It is just a small group of us here on the second floor. The stairs are a bit steep, but they keep us fit. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers and making sure the orders are ready for pickup. It is a noisy area with all the trucks and the shouting from the street markets below. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. We just rely on the work we do. It is a simple, no-nonsense kind of business. We’ve been on Strand Road for years and we know the routine of the area well. It isn't a glamorous life, but we are good at what we do and it keeps us occupied.
